I can't believe this is happening as well as us celebrating our 2nd birthday. It all began with this night and we are so excited to bring it again with the best line up of local talent...

ALCHEMIZE - SPECIAL HEADLINE SET

Alchemize return to Elder Emo UK after their first appearance with us earlier this year at Emotional Damage Festival and they have stampeded through the local scene and beyond! For a band who have been together for such a short time they have featured on BBC Introducing, Kerrang, song collabed with InRetrospect and just announced their support tour with Polar. So now they are ready for their big moment making Elder Emo Ball 3 their first ever headline show which we are honoured to be. 

VICES

Another band who has made their mark in a short time together! VICES bring something to the stage which is unmatched and we are so honoured to have them back again with Elder Emo UK now they are spreading their wings across the country in multiple venues and festivals. Their last show with us & Madhouse Promotions they supported HAWXX, featured on BBC Introducing and other local radio stations and now finish an amazing year back home.

DAD BODZ

Both Vices & Dad Bodz were born from ALL FILLER, NO KILLER the former tribute band all the way back from our first ball (and second ball) and thank the Emo God's both bands happened! Dad Bodz are literally Elder Emo in music form giving us early 2000's pop punk written by men in their mid 30's. The boys have 4 incredible tracks and can't wait to see them back in action and what surprises they have in stall this night!

AFTERPARTY

Yours truly (DJ Connie Von D) will be jumping on the decks after our bands to carry on the night! Even though I will be saying some words on the night I just want to thank you all for making this happen for the third time as well as all our gigs throughout the year. I now get to do this as my full time job and it is not even a job to me - It is my passion to ensure people let loose and have a good time so again - Thank You 🖤

Mungo’s Hi Fi are a soundsystem and music production collective based in Glasgow, Scotland - dedicated to creating a uniquely uplifting experience. Mungo’s love soundsystem culture to the core - from its Jamaican roots to raves, club and festivals. They produce and play music which blends Jamaican influence with contemporary bass music, resulting in a unique take on Ska, Reggae, Dancehall and Dubstep that has made them firm favourites in the underground music scene.

Happy Mondaze have been performing regularly for over a decade. Consisting of a full 5 piece live band including their very own 'Bez' they authentically recreate that dance-infused indie that encapsulates the early 90s rave culture.

They were the first ever tribute band to bravely emulate the Manchester legends 'Happy Mondays' and are still considered to be the best around, with many glowing recommendations including some of the original band members themselves.

Formed late 2015 in Manchester by four talented musicians who have each previously notched up many gigs with original and other cover bands. The guys (and gal) came together through their shared love of the Pixies.

A few false starts later, the current line-up of Hey Pixies started intensive rehearsals. 6 months later the gigs started and were enthusiastically received.

They quickly gained attention of promoters across the region and appeared on numerous sold out tribute festivals over the summer. They have gone on to be seen as the best Pixies tribute act in the UK. 

Hey Pixies strive for the original authentic Pixies sound and play the classics as close to the original recordings as possible. If you have recently missed the awesome live experience of the Pixies, then no fear - come and see Hey Pixies.

Wolfgang Flür, robot member of the seminal electronic group Kraftwerk from 1973 to 1987, invented and played much of the group's electric percussion used throughout the 1970s.

A member of Kraftwerk during the group's golden era, he was there from their international breakthrough with the album Autobahn (1974) and remained as they experimented with proto-techno on albums such as Trans-Europe Express (1977) and Computer World (1981).

Musik Soldat ('music soldier') sees this true pioneer performing music from his present projects, including new album MAGAZINE 1, and Kraftwerk past... all with a strong anti-war message.

Peter Duggal is a musician and producer born and bought up in Handsworth, Birmingham (now based in Hebden Bridge), and the musical partner of Wolfgang Flür (ex Kraftwerk). A veteran of electronic music production, Peter had his first release in 1990 on the RHAM! Records label under the artist name 'Doggy'.

Guided by a shared belief in the transformative power of electronic music, they intricately fuse the science of psychoacoustics, the innovation of jazz & classical, and the raw rhythms of Detroit techno.

ACID ROCKERS

Matthew Buggins, AKA Acid Rockers, has been a staple name in House, Breaks and Techno since the early 1990's, heavily inspired by the early Detroit sound with the inimitable alter ego; Bass Culture on D:Vision Records. Curating an impressive array of releases across a wide variety of genres and production aliases from Quark, Cygnus Loop, Hippies with Altitude and Tayo Meets Acid Rockers. A body of work spanning 3 decades found on the likes of AAA Recordings, Harthouse and Sony / Blueroom Records. The chameleon-like Matt Buggins has a rare talent, merging genres seamlessly with melodic fluidity and hauntingly evocative rhythms.

DEMETAE

From the humble city of Preston, Demetae caught the wave of one of Manchesters biggest promoters and jumped on the Love Dose Records party train. This allowed Rob to vent his passion for music on the turntables in now iconic clubs such as Sankeys, Hidden & The White Hotel. ​Inspired by the echoes of rave in his lugs, Demetae launched his own imprint «Powerful Recordings» with several releases from the likes of Kashpitzky, Barium Network & Sted Mørk.

Blues Harvest will once again be transforming Preston into a wretched hive of scum and villainy this December as they bring their 'BLUES HARVEST HOLIDAY SPECIAL' to The Ferret! The bands annual event will, for the first time, be an 'extended edition', meaning more bands, acts and surprises, with an early (4pm) opening and late finish.

Blues Harvest are a pop culture party band who have been delighting audiences at comic-cons, space centres and cantinas across the galaxy for over a decade.

Adapting their name from ‘Blue Harvest’ (the fake working title used to hide the 1982 production of Return of the Jedi) the band first performed their blend of geek culture with movie themes and popular hits to an audience of Star Wars fans and celebrities at a convention in 2013, and since then have built up a most impressive reputation as the go-to party band for geek events.

The UK based six-piece consists of Darth Paul (vocals & percussion), Lapti Nik (guitar & vocals), Ad Bane (guitar & backing vocals), Androo-Detoo (keyboards & backing vocals), Bass Windu (bass guitar) and Andylorian (drums & backing vocals). This talented sextet effortlessly fuse geek culture, nostalgia and energetic performances at their memorable live shows, blending their musical influences with fandom culture to result in an uplifting set of timeless movie bangers (Power of Love, Ghostbusters, Flash, Footloose), movie and TV soundtracks (Star Wars, The Mandalorian, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf), 70s awesome mixtape highlights (Hooked on a Feeling, Mr Blue Sky) and plenty of surprises along the way. Their live shows are a multimedia feast, with movie and TV footage being projected along with the music, evoking a nostalgic and crowd-pleasing experience.

Design Rewind is Billy Strahan Jr. & Jonathan Towers.  Billy Strahan is lead vocalist and drummer; Jonathan Towers plays bass and electric guitar and provides backing vocals. The duo writes all their own music and perform their own songs as well as cover songs. Design Rewind can be best described as a Modern Throwback. They are inspired by the great songwriters of the 1970’s & 80’s in pop and rock. Think Hall & Oates meets The 1975.
