The Lovely Eggs:

For the Lancaster-based The Lovely Eggs, being in a band is a way of life. It’s about art. It’s about creativity and expression. It’s about following your own path and doing things your own way.

Holly and David operate on their terms, spewing out music, records, art and television shows before piling in the van and tearing round the country to perform a load of live sold out shows.

The pair have been making music in Lancaster since they were teenagers at the Lancaster Music Co-op, a nonprofit organisation that offers affordable equipment, rehearsal and recording space. 

Their wild and wilful independence sets themselves apart from other bands and despite having no management, booking agent, record label or publisher their album “I am Moron” shot to Number One in the Official UK Independent Charts and they continue to sell out shows across the country.

With releases across the world, The Lovely Eggs have played hundreds of gigs around the UK, USA & EU. They have produced 7 albums & recorded more than 10 live sessions for BBC 6 Music & Radio 1.

With observational and often surreal lyrics, The Lovely Eggs have a powerful raw sound that creates the sonic illusion of a band twice their size. They have become known for their ferocious yet joyous live performances.  Operating in a world when true authenticity is hard to find, The Lovely Eggs are one of the most exciting, innovative and genuine bands around. British Birds:

Hatched in 2023 via tape loops and cheap nylon stringed guitars, Chorley-based British Birds soar from the depths of psych-tinged melancholy to the heights of disco-doused dystopia and back. From within the precariously soundproofed walls of their inconspicuous makeshift arthouse they meticulously craft their sound; dedicating themselves to the whole craft from recording, producing and releasing their records, to screenprinting their merch.

Ellie’s grab-you-and-don’t-let-you-go basslines, Mikey’s thumping drums which cut like Keith Moon’s poltergeist and Emma’s earwormy synth and sweet n shriek harmonies bolster frontman Bobby’s cathartic vocals and staunchly stylistic guitar which jangles like Harrison’s inner demon. The four-piece have impressed fans around the country and beyond during tour support slots for The Lovely Eggs, Pale Blue Eyes and The Bug Club and their 3 live sessions for BBC 6 Music’s Marc Riley.

British Birds were formed in 2023 after the closure of frontman Bobby Mambo’s DIY venue Brock n Broll HQ which hosted acts such as Burger Records’ Boytoy of New York, Salt Lake City’s Max Pain & The Groovies, Castrovalva of Leeds, Manchester-based Fruit Tones, and Hannes Ferm from Stockholm. Bobby proceeded to piece together his new space with screen printing facilities and a recording studio which is largely built around his love of analogue equipment. This place provided the anvil and hammer to British Birds’ debut LP In Search of Mr Rykyn, a self-reflective, self-made, self-released record, released in February 2024, full of swirling melody, nostalgic sensibility and unshakable melancholy.

A bountiful 2025 lies ahead for British Birds, with their first twelve-date headline tour to look forward to in Autumn, to celebrate the release of their second album Silence Daedalus, self-made and self-released as ever, and out on the 15th June 2025. 500 vinyl copies will be available via bandcamp and in select record stores across the UK.

Lady Lazarus is a Sydney-born, Berlin-bound punk band combining brash energy, sharp political messaging, and a DIY ethos that refuses to compromise. 

Fronted by Caroline Parks (vocals), with Eva Lozanovska (guitar), Isabel Rakuljic (bass), and Julia Nienhaus (drums). Lady Lazarus channels the raw spirit of punk legends that came before them, described by critics as “a reawakening of our punk ancestors” (Happy Mag , 2024.) 

Known for their unapologetic activism, Lady Lazarus doesn’t just play music—they spark movements. From handcrafting political zines to wearing DIY shirts emblazoned with bold, defiant messages, their art is a rallying cry for marginalized voices. Their inclusive approach to music has seen them champion diverse lineups and organize impactful events like LOUD WOMEN AUSTRALIA to showcase non-male voices in the scene.

Listen Twice: Music needs to move you, both physically and mentally. From heavy guitar, banging drum beats and bass that makes you move; Listen Twice take inspiration from rock, indie and punk (as well as some ska for fun).

Listen Twice offer style of songs that you can love in an instance. Add in the rather fantastic vocals of Kate and you have got a band that can fill any room and get people into the music. After all. Music is what makes the world go round.

ALICIA F!

A native of Lorraine (North East France), Alicia Fiorucci started her artistic journey very early with the violin and classical dance. At 12, she has a revelation with Aerosmith, it's a cataclysm that plunges her into rock. Soon, she's taking electric guitar lessons at the Villerupt School of Music.

At 19, she meets the Kingstone, a rock group with whom she first stepped on the boards as a lead singer. Between 20 and 27 years old, she is a radio host on Radio Aria Longwy and X-move in Mont-Saint-Martin, then takes singing lessons for 2 years at the Blues School of Differdange in Luxembourg. 2017 marks a turning point in her life when she meets Tony Marlow (ex- Rockin' Rebels, Betty & The Bops) at Marc Zermati (Open Market, Skydog Records) in Paris. Tony then invites her to participate in a Chuck Berry Tribute that he organizes in Balajo (Paris), so she begins to sing with him and participate in his concerts before founding her own project, ALICIA F! with Tony on guitar in September 2019.

In May 2020 a first single "My No-Generation" is released, which is now sold out. In November 2021, the debut album "Welcome to my F World" features 11 tracks and 1 cover "Cherry Bomb" by the Runaways and receives a very good media reception (Rock & Folk, Best, Vinyl & Audio and many more.)

The S Werd started out as phone note ramblings. After complaining of nowhere to spout the words, and a few too many beers on a night out, a stage was booked! 

The S Werd is for spoken word, poetry, prose and limericks - all levels are welcome to come join for a spot! 

Whether heartfelt or funny, memories or made up - this is your chance to have the floor.

Hosted by Becca Jaye (or Screwps to some), The S Werd is open mic and free entry - with a usual excess of 11 acts this night has been a hit since its inception back in November ‘23. 

So come hear about dick pics, read texts from your ex, or hear why online dating is as funny as cheese on a plane…

Fajadja are a bass-heavy six piece act with influences including funk, hip-hop, disco, reggae and ska. Formed in 2016, featuring musicians from all over the world, each bringing the musical roots of their country with them. The band met through Amsterdam’s thriving music scene, with a shared vision to make a new vibe to party with. The band has played some of Amsterdam’s most iconic venues and beyond!

Pendant formed in April 2023, and have a sound that blends Indie Rock with various genres to create an overall very distinct sound. Although Pendant are first and foremost all guitarists, they have a tightness as a guitar, bass and drum combo that helps to make for a great atmosphere when performing live.

Defined by are the new sound of the northern working classes. What started as the solo project of Lee Egerton, has evolved into a formidable 5 piece band that are ready to storm the stages and put on a live show full of guitar driven indie anthems. Lyrically, they tell the story of ‘real life’ combined with soaring Melodie’s and driving rhythms. Their latest release ‘God’s No Help’ is an example of everything that this band has to offer, and has so far has gripped the hearts of the Uk and European listeners.
