SYLVETTE
Manchester art-rockers Sylvette hit Preston to celebrate the release of their album Stiller Than Still - with support from Dream Pop duo Audrey's Dance. This is a SOCIALLY DISTANCED SEATED SHOW.
'Poetic, otherworldly & haunting' - BBC 6 Music
Inspired by art in all its forms, Sylvette draw from the elements and traditions of many different genres and synthesise a unique experience. On one hand it's natural, earthy, and ritualistic and on
the other futuristic, celestial and even glamourous. Think the raw, yearning melodies of Led Zeppelin and Jeff Buckley supported by the bold sounds of Bjork and Aphex Twin, all fused together by the disturbing poetry of Neutral Milk Hotel.
The video to “Kelpius” secured 25K views in 3 weeks of release and used groundbreaking software Ebsynth which turned the band into living versions of the paintings created specifically for the video. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/k5qr8a0G6ws
'Gigging is one of the greatest joys in our lives and it really will be special getting out on the road again and seeing you all again.
Lots of love
Sylvette xx'
