FRIDAY 23rd MAY from 7pm:

HAUSPOINTS

DEAD THINGS

[SLAB]

+ DJs TBA

>> Hauspoints:

Exploring a distinctly northern viewpoint on modernity, Hauspoints’ songs are like a love letter to popular culture, finding beauty in the mundane minutiae and celebrating the quirkiness of human existence.

Established on a dilapidated industrial estate at the foot of an overgrown hill in darkest Lancashire, their debut album, Eel Feeling, is a beat-heavy rasp that treads an unfurrowed path aside multiple genres without straying too far into the obscure.

>> dead things:

Dead Things are a three piece powerhouse embracing the grit of garage rock, while flaunting fractured riffs and infectious melodies. Obsessed with tales of death in their hometown, they yell their findings against a scuzzy fuzz-imbued racket - it's catchy, infectious post-punk at its best.

>> [slab]:

"A thrilling slice of post-punk/post-hardcore, full of dynamics". Post-rock trio piece [slab] formed in Manchester in 2019. Louder Than War made their recent debut Taut, Album of the Week with 5* rating, saying it is "a trip into the dark side of the Manchester music scene that cant be matched this year".

Sun13 said the album is "one of those moments that makes you realise why new music conquers all".

SATURDAY 24th MAY from 4pm:

ALL HAIL HYENA

THE JACKPOT GOLDEN BOYS

GIDEON CONN

DISC JOCKEY

DILEMMAS

+ DJs TBA

>> All Hail Hyena:

Boasting over 1 million music streams and 60 million video plays, ALL HAIL HYENA is growing in popularity with a no-nonsense attitude towards being serious about making music that isn't serious and predictably unpredictable. After some landmark shows supporting the likes of Grandaddy & Ultrasound, ALL HAIL HYENA is a washed-up, middle-aged boy band writing bonkers alt punk in their pyjamas. You’re entitled to hate what they do.

>> The Jackpot Golden Boys:

The Jackpot Golden Boys' music ranges from catchy pop rock, Halloween punk bangers to heavy metal TV theme tunes... better to hear for yourself! Their live shows are an energetic blend of music, humour and crowd interaction.

>> Gideon Conn:

Gideon Conn is known for effortlessly blending acoustic folk and hip hop. His unique performance style never fails to impress. He has previously toured across the UK with the likes of Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Jason Mraz & Bunty. He has also made appearances at various festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival & Latitude.

>> Disc Jockey:

Originally known as The Shoestrings, the up & coming North West based punk band are now operating under a new alias in Disc Jockey. After only a short amount of time since their beginning Disc Jockey have already begun to make a name for themselves through their live performances and their new single ‘Man of the Year’ featuring on radio stations such as BBC Introducing.

>> Dilemmas:

Blackburn based trio Dilemmas are rapidly bringing a new wave of energetic, loud and captivating music to the alternative rock scene. With an ever growing audience, Hayden Atkinson (vocals and guitar), Jake Robinson (Drums) and Evan Hurley (bass) have brought a complete live sound to fans that’s bursting with energy and attitude, pushing the boundaries of what a raw, alternative three piece can achieve. Having supported the likes of Hotwax and Ruby J, Dilemmas have made it clear that they’re a must see live outfit with a bright future ahead of them.

BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY 25th MAY from 4pm:

SKY VALLEY MISTRESS

COWTOWN

AHMED & THE ROMANS

HORSEMEAT

DAKOTA AVENUE

+ DJs TBA

>> Sky Valley Mistress:

Recording at the infamous Rancho de la Luna studios (QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys & Iggy Pop) was always destined to leave its cactus sharp mark on Sky Valley Mistress, as their latest cut sounds like it could also have been carved in the Californian Desert.

How the Hearse Rollin’, Flare Strollin’, Speaker ‘Splodin’ band recreate this in the flesh as the Dual Duel-Drumming Duo they now present themselves as, has to be seen to be believed. Stream-lined and stripped back from a four to a two piece, lead vocalist Kayley “Hell Kitten” Davies has now picked up the sticks and plays one half of a drum kit with former drummer MAX taking on the electric guitar whilst keeping one foot on the kick drum. No samples. No backing tracks. No click tracks.

No one is playing rock and roll the way that these two do.

>> Cowtown:

Leeds heroes of the DIY punk scene, and one of our all-time favourite bands. All hail COWTOWN! Dynamic overstimulated indie-rock and devolved synth-punk space jams.

>> Ahmed & The Romans:

Manchester's wonk-garage fuzzsperts Ahmed & The Romans are made up of three italians and an Anglo-Egyptian frontman. Their music is a heady mix of fuzzed out garage rock and sadistic post-punk.

>> Horsemeat:

Horsemeat are an aggressive blend of Hardcore, Post-Punk and Alternative Metal, with some progressive elements, which they have dubbed “Prunge” for short.

>> Dakota Avenue:

The explosive Alt-trio based in Manchester, bring us their indie-soul power, with a driving rhythm section and melodic pop-hook vocals.
