What to write about Paul Birchall the man who s had so many lives in Music, Touring keyboard musician of 40 years most famously with M People, producer and arranger for Heather Small and Candi Staton amongst others, Composer of Piano Music, Prog rock musician, now returning to his first love The Minimoog. Some of you heard him at The Harris last year at the start of his Mini Tour Conversing with the Moog.
Heres what 808 State Graham Massey had to say on hearing Paul,
: “It was great to hear a skilled player on the Mini Moog, Paul obviously has a deep relationship with the instrument that started the synth revolution 50 years ago. Like watching James Bond throwing an Aston Martin around, it was classical.
An illness cut the tour short but Pauls been composing and recording during his convalescence, now hes back and bringing the Minimoog to The Ferret to join Free Parking on March 15th. We are delighted to welcome Paul for what should be an amazing night
