Post-punk informed DIY garage-rock played with gay abandon, Whinge slam together influences from the Mondays to the Sabbath, ESG to LCD, Genesis to The Rapture.
📺 TV FACE - The band called TV FACE are a DIY, noise rock trio. Formed in 2019, their sound combines Steve’s weird, experimental guitar stylings with Brigit’s tight, grinding bass and Neil’s coruscating drums, laced with deranged yet tuneful boy-girl vocals. They have been compared to Braniac, McClusky, Buzzcocks, Pixies, and wouldn’t look out of place on Touch and Go Records’ roster.
☣️ HAZMAT - Heavily influenced by 90’s rock and grunge powerhouses such as Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies; HAZMAT’s sound features hallmarks of the genre such as overdriven, dominant guitar riffs, mind-bending solos and dark lyricism. Feeling disillusioned with the current state of pop culture and music, HAZMAT aims to instill the energy and attitude of that era, which becomes visible through their live performance.
