Their music blends grunge, pop, and punk influences, drawing inspiration from acts like L7, Bikini Kill, and No Doubt. Bad Skin's lyrics often address themes of feminism, self-confidence, and social issues, aiming to give a voice to the voiceless. Their 2021 EP, Live Fast Die Punk, showcases their raw energy and commitment to punk's rebellious spirit .

The band has performed at major festivals worldwide, including the Rebellion Festival in the UK, Spike Festival in Bulgaria, and Summerfest in North America. They've also graced stages at Canadian events like Music 4 Cancer, Canadian Music Week, Rock La Cauze, Festivoix, Rock Fest pour la Santé Mentale, and Pouzza Fest .

In 2024, Bad Skin released the empowering single "We Are The Girls," a collaboration with South Korean punk band Rumkicks. The track serves as a feminist anthem, celebrating strong women from diverse backgrounds .
