PRAY FOR MOJO
Pray For Mojo are a fuzz flavoured Psychedelic square from North West England. After a short tenure as a band, they released the 12 track album 'Welcome To Mojopia' in January 2022 and surrounded this with a run of shows including Yes' Pink room and a beyond capacity Castle Manchester for their first sellout headline show in April. Merging influences from King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard and Oh Sees to Goat and Queens Of The Stone Age, the band have already made a name for themselves as a powerhouse live band, with an eclectic sound and already deep back catalogue, and triptastic visual packages.
WHINGE
Whinge make noise with guitars, synths and drums. Plus shouting.
Post-punk informed DIY garage-rock played with gay abandon, Whinge slam together influences from the Mondays to the Sabbath, ESG to LCD, Genesis to The Rapture. Don't take all that too seriously tbh.
FILTHYDIRTY (EVIL BLIZZARD)
The clown prince of Evil Blizzard returns with his mystery guitar goblin.
'The glammed up weirdo FilthDirty gets a bit bored, finds some unreleased Blizz tracks that didn’t quite work at the time, fucks around with them a bit, dusts off his bass / electric drum kit and finds his way around some mental abrasive sound that blasts it way well over eleven.'
ONE SIDED HORSE
One Sided Horse was formed in 2015 by Mark Whiteside, his songs have been likened to Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and even Neil Diamond. A meeting with Embrace bass player Steve Firth led to him working with the whole band and in 2015 they released the acclaimed album Between Light and Space. Since releasing the album One Sided Horse has supported Dodgy on a full UK Acoustic Tour and played solo gigs with The House of Love, Wire and Embrace. Mark is also a member of Evil Blizzard, but don't hold that against him.
